How I got here... how I can help you...
As an Arizona Home Stager and designer I am here to help you maximize the equity in your home and reduce the selling time by transforming your home to increase marketing appeal and captivating buyers to make that mental leap from being a potential buyer to the owner of your home.
Do you wonder why everyone seems to gravitate towards one room in your home and the other rooms are left unused? Some rooms just don’t seem to have a purpose and you just can’t figure out how to redesign them to make them functional and cohesive. I would love to help you make the most out of your living spaces so that your environment is not only beautiful to the eye, but feels harmonious and peaceful; a place where you love to live or a buyer will immediately feel at home when they walk in.
Coming from a large Italian family of eight children we learned how to do pretty much everything including electrical, plumbing, woodworking, and tile work. We were a DYI family. From a very young age I can remember helping my mother organize and decorate our century Colonial home in Windsor, Ohio. She was always decorating and redesigning. At 14 I was helping her set up parties and dinners for clients she had in her part time business. Learning to sew at eight years old I fell in love with textiles and designing clothing and home accessories. Studying art and photography in school it became my passion along with textile and home design. I combined these passions in 1983 when I worked closely in the real estate business with my broker husband. I found there was a need for homes to be “staged” so that the seller could walk away with more money and with less stress not having to show their home any longer than necessary. Having a home stager that knows the ins and outs of the real estate business is a tremendous advantage to any seller. I know what buyers are looking for. I understand the local market and why you shouldn’t and don’t have to leave money on the table.
In high school I won the national Crisco award for my skills in sewing and home economics and won awards for home design at the local fairs. Both times I participated in the Southern Women’s Show, I won the “best of design” award out of 1000 participates for my booth in Nashville, TN and the one in Orlando, FL. My artwork has hung at the state capital in Phoenix, AZ and several pieces of my Photography were chosen to grace the newly constructed wings of the Southlake Hospital in Clermont FL where they still hang today. I also hold a design patent and several copyrights for my textile accessory designs.
My 5600 square foot log home that I architecturally designed along with the interior design of which I helped to construct, including installing all of the tile work, was chosen to be featured on the cover of the Southern Living Real Estate magazine.
Artists are visual. That’s why I can have an extra sensitive eye to seeing the beauty in the architecture of your home and bringing out the best features and how the style and placement of furniture, design, and color can make or break a sale.
With all of my skills combined I can help you achieve your goal; be it “staging to sell” or “redesigning” or “organizing” or "photographing" your home.
Visions of today,
Are realities of tomorrow.
